Back Exersises?

O.K...I am needing a good back excersise. Something I can do at home. Any suggestions? I tend to gain weight around my arms and back the most (sigh...). I've never really done pallates or yoga, so I don't know what works for the back area.

  1. You could always do the "superman". It tones your waist and strengthens your lower back. Just lie on your stomach with your arms stretched in front of you and while engaging your butt and lower back, lift up. Yoga and pilates are both awesome at overall toning. I've got some videos if you want to borrow them. Also, I go to 24hour fitness (haha-who am i kidding i havent been in 2 weeks) and if you want to come I have a free week pass. Good luck.

  2. Thanks for the tip Meg. I can go to the Drayson Center for free, but I've been a lazy sucker...hence the increased back and arm size, and everything else. I surprized myself and went running at 5:45 this morning. Maybe I can go to the Drayson Center in the mornings before my kids get up..Hmmm, does anyone do wakeup calls, or can anyone come poor water on my head in the morning? j/k But seriously, maybe I'll take you up on your offer to borrow some videos to get some good excersises to do.
